Posting these cat-cartoons-without-the-cartoon was a long journey that I don’t know if I’ll repeat soon again. A daily blog is tough … even when you have your material handed to you! But, I couldn’t have done it without the artwork … Continue reading →

More snow in Seattle

Posted by joeabbott on March 8, 2009

What??! Really? OK, so here we are in the Winter That Never Ends ™ with yet another snow in Seattle.

Some years it doesn’t snow at all but usually once, maybe twice. This year we’ve had MANY days with snow on the ground. I’m sure it’ll be gone by noon but it’s a danged odd wonder.

While more Twitter-worthy than blog-worthy, I’m about to head out for a day of hiking. There’s a local high point on a ridge called Mailbox Peak that draws a few who like a lot of elevation gain in a little distance. I’ll report more later but given that we have snow here in Seattle, I’m preparing myself for a day of cold and wet.

I think I’ll love it.
